Located on Clearwater Harbor in Pinellas County, this well-developed public access point offers excellent facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and larger vessels. The ramp features 10 launching lanes, courtesy docks, and dedicated parking with 108 trailer spots and 98 vehicle spaces (fees apply). The site is handicap accessible and includes amenities such as a fishing pier and restroom facilities. Direct access to the Gulf of Mexico is available via Clearwater Pass, making this a convenient departure point for open-water paddling and fishing.
This is an ideal launch for both day trips and extended paddles, with sufficient infrastructure to handle multiple watercraft simultaneously. The gravel/sand parking lot is in good condition, and the courtesy docks are helpful for loading gear or boarding. Paddlers should note that access to the Gulf provides exposure to open water conditions, so appropriate skill levels and weather awareness are recommended for those planning beyond-the-harbor ventures.
