About This Access Site
Clewiston City Marina offers convenient access to Lake Okeechobee's eastern side with four boat ramps and two floating docks located in a protected lagoon on Hoover Dike Road. The facility is easily accessible from U.S. Highway 27—simply turn north on Francisco Street and then left on Hoover Dike Road. This is a straightforward, well-developed access point ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger recreational boats.

Lake Okeechobee is Florida's largest freshwater lake, offering extensive paddling and boating opportunities across its vast waters. The Clewiston area provides good infrastructure for water recreationists, including nearby restaurants, fish camps, and additional services. The S-310 navigation lock connects the lake to the C-21 Canal system, opening up further exploration options for boaters. Picnic areas are available at the ramp facility, making it convenient for day trips or longer outings on the lake.
