Black Rock Bridge is a public boat launch providing access to Lake Marburg and the West Branch Codorus Creek in Codorus State Park, located near Hanover in York County. The 1,275-acre Lake Marburg offers 26 miles of shoreline across 3,500 acres of park land in the rolling hills of southern Pennsylvania. This is one of seven public boat ramps around the lake, making it a convenient access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters looking to explore the water.
Lake Marburg is a popular destination for recreational boating and warmwater fishing, with calm conditions suitable for paddling. The lake serves as an important stopover for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. Note that motorboats must display current boat registration. If you're visiting the park, boat rentals are available at two day-use areas (Marina and Oar House locations), and camping facilities are available for overnight stays. All public ramps are open to the public, though the campground launch is reserved for registered campers only.
