About This Access Site
The Codorus State Park Marina Area provides public access to Lake Marburg, a scenic 1,275-acre impoundment on the West Branch Codorus Creek within the 3,500-acre state park in York County. The boat ramp is 30 feet wide and is designed to accommodate small to medium-sized boats, making it well-suited for kayaks, canoes, and recreational fishing boats. The lake offers 26 miles of shoreline to explore across rolling southern Pennsylvania terrain.

This is one of seven public launch ramps around Lake Marburg. Note that while most ramps are open to the public, the campground launch is reserved for registered campers only. All motorboats must display current boat registration from any state, and non-powered boats (including kayaks and canoes) must display either a state boat registration or meet other registration requirements. The lake is popular for boating and warmwater fishing, and the marina area offers amenities including boat rentals during the full boating season. Plan to arrive during normal park day-use hours and bring necessary documentation for your vessel type.
