About This Access Site
Mooring Cove at Codorus State Park provides public access to West Branch Codorus Creek and Lake Marburg, a 1,275-acre impoundment with 26 miles of shoreline in rolling southern York County. The lake is a popular destination for boating, fishing, and wildlife viewing, serving as a rest stop for migrating waterfowl. Mooring spaces are available for rent from April 1 through October 31 for those looking to leave boats on the water.

This is one of seven public boat launch ramps around Lake Marburg. The access point offers convenient launching for kayaks, canoes, and small to medium-sized motorboats. Note that while all public ramps are open to the public, the campground launch is reserved for registered campers only. The park also offers seasonal boat rentals and additional day-use facilities with amenities nearby.
