About This Access Site
The Smith Station Road boat ramp provides public access to Lake Marburg, a 1,275-acre impoundment on the West Branch Codorus Creek in Parkville. This is one of seven public launch ramps around the lake, making it a convenient option for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the park's 26 miles of shoreline. The lake is popular for recreational boating and fishing, and the park's rolling terrain in southern York County offers scenic paddling opportunities.

When planning your visit, note that motorboats must display current registration from any state, while non-powered boats (including kayaks and canoes) also need to display a valid boat registration or equivalent documentation. For additional amenities and services, the park offers boat rentals at multiple locations during the boating season. Contact Codorus State Park at 717-637-2816 or codorussp@pa.gov for specific information about launch hours, any applicable fees, and current conditions before your visit.
