About This Access Site
Cokato Lake is a 553-acre lake in Wright County, Minnesota, offering public boat access via a paved launch ramp located on the east side of the lake on Nevens Avenue. The lake has a maximum depth of 52 feet and accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet at the launch, with some ramps able to handle larger vessels. There are no launch fees unless a vehicle permit is required for park access.

This is a well-established fishing and recreation destination stocked with smallmouth bass and walleye (stocked biennially since 2006), making it suitable for both anglers and recreational paddlers. The ramp provides trailer parking and basic amenities, making it convenient for canoeists and kayakers launching for day trips on this moderate-sized lake. Check with local management for current conditions and any seasonal restrictions before visiting.
