Columbia Park West

Columbia Park West is a public boat ramp facility on Lake Wallula in Richland, offering convenient access to the Columbia River reservoir system. The ramp provides launching for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats with parking available in front of the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center and adjacent to Columbia Water Company. Note that from Memorial Day through Labor Day, parking restrictions apply—only vehicles with trailers are permitted in the long spaces surrounding the launch area.

Lake Wallula is a large, slow-moving reservoir that extends from McNary Dam downstream to Priest Rapids Dam on the Columbia River and up the Snake River to Ice Harbor Dam. This expansive water body is suitable for paddling across a range of skill levels, though paddlers should check current conditions and water levels.
