Columbus-Belmont State Park offers direct access to the Mississippi River via a dedicated boat ramp, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring this major waterway. The park encompasses 156 wooded acres along scenic river bluffs and includes additional amenities such as camping, hiking trails, a museum, and interpretive exhibits focused on Civil War history and the Trail of Tears.
