**Location & Access:** The Coshocton City Ramp is located on S. 2nd Street in Coshocton and serves as the primary public boat launch on the upper Muskingum River. This is a convenient put-in point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters exploring the scenic Muskingum Valley, which is formed by the confluence of the Walhonding and Tuscarawas rivers in Coshocton.
**River Character & Nearby Recreation:** The Muskingum River serves thousands of recreational boaters annually and offers fishing, paddling, and scenic opportunities throughout the valley. From this launch, paddlers have access to the historic Muskingum River system, which features several additional public launch points downstream at Locks 4, 5, 6, and 11. The area also provides proximity to Wills Creek Lake and Roscoe Village, a restored Ohio-Erie Canal town, making it an excellent base for exploring both river and canal paddling opportunities in the region.
