Coulee Playland Resort

Coulee Playland Resort offers a full-service boat launch and access point on Banks Lake near Electric City. The facility features a dedicated boat ramp, day-use parking, and boat dock facilities. An annual boat launch pass is available for purchase at the kiosk paystation in the adjacent campground. The resort also rents kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats, and fishing boats if you don't have your own watercraft.

This is an excellent base for paddlers and boaters exploring Banks Lake, a large 60,000+ acre reservoir with over 500 miles of scenic shoreline. Beyond day-use access, Coulee Playland offers extensive onsite amenities including full-hookup RV sites, tent camping, cabins, restrooms, hot showers, a snack bar, and fishing supplies. The resort is well-positioned for exploring nearby Franklin D. Roosevelt Lake and accessing water recreation opportunities throughout the Columbia Basin region.

Note that temporary moorage at adjacent Coulee City Campground docks is limited to brief stops (meals, fuel, passenger pickup, or waiting out wind). For extended stays or specific questions about launch conditions, contact the resort directly.
