This is a lake environment suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The impoundment reaches a maximum depth of 40 feet and was created in 1966, providing relatively calm water conditions compared to free-flowing creek paddling. The lake offers good opportunities for recreational paddling and fishing. Boaters should be prepared for typical lake conditions and check current water levels before launching.
