About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** County Road 515 provides public access to Pelican Lake near Orr in St. Louis County. To reach the site, head north on County Road 11 and turn right onto North Drive, following signs to the public access area. Ample free parking is available at this location.

**Launch Facilities & Restrictions:** This access features a well-maintained boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. **Important note:** Summer use is gated, making this a carry-in access only during peak season. Swimming is not permitted at this site. If you need vehicle-assisted launching, consider the alternative **Jones Bay Access** on the northwest side of the lake off County Road 4, which may offer different amenities.

**Lake Overview:** Pelican Lake is a popular northern Minnesota destination with multiple public launch points (6 known public accesses around the lake). This access point on the southeastern side provides a convenient entry point for exploring the lake by paddle or motorboat.
