Courtney Campbell Causeway Public Boat Ramp

Located on the north side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Tampa, this well-maintained facility offers excellent access to Upper Tampa Bay and surrounding waters. The ramp features two double launch lanes with boarding docks and can accommodate approximately 60 trailer vehicles in paved parking. There is a $5 per boat launch fee. The site provides 24-hour access, making it convenient for paddlers planning early morning or evening trips.

From this ramp, kayakers and canoeists can explore a wide range of destinations including Cockroach Bay, the Manatee River, Little Manatee River, Bishop Harbor, Terra Ceia Bay, the Alafia River, McKay Bay, Mobbly Bay, and even the Gulf of Mexico. The causeway location makes this an ideal base for both casual paddling in protected bay waters and longer expeditions into more open waters.
