About This Access Site
This public DNR-maintained boat ramp provides convenient access to Crooked Lake, a 162-acre lake in Langlade County with moderately clear water. The concrete ramp is suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake features a maximum depth of 37 feet and relatively flat-to-gently-rolling terrain, making it accessible for paddlers of various skill levels.

The access site includes a vault toilet facility. Note that the site is closed from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am, and swimming, wading, and bathing are not permitted. The lake supports populations of panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike, making it a good destination for both paddling and fishing. Sandy soils characterize the watershed, and the moderately clear water conditions should provide good visibility for navigation.
