About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
The Crooked Lake boat ramp is located at the north end of the lake off Bunker Hills Boulevard in Andover, Anoka County. This is a modest public access facility maintained by the City of Andover, featuring a concrete boat ramp, parking lot, and vault toilet. Note that this is a small facility and may not be suitable for larger boats or trailers. The site is closed from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am.

**Lake Character & Paddling**
Crooked Lake is a 115-acre water body with a maximum depth of 26 feet, situated in flat-to-gently-rolling terrain with sandy soils. Kayakers and canoeists will find this a manageable paddle on calm waters. The lake's proximity to the mouth of the Crooked River (across the lake) makes it a good starting point for trips between Crooked and Burt Lakes. Additional amenities include two fishing piers in Crooked Lake Park on the east side of the lake off Crooked Lake Boulevard.
