**Location & Access:** The Crystal Lake public boat ramp is located at Crystal Lake West Park on the west end of the lake in Akeley, Cass County. Take Crystal Lake Road east from I-35 to reach the access point. The city-owned park provides public waterfront access with a hard surface trail and canoe rack rental available.

**Facilities & Paddling Tips:** This 54-acre park includes a boat ramp suitable for motorized and non-motorized watercraft. Since the ramp is shared among different user types, paddlers should be mindful of keeping the launch area clear when loading and unloading. For kayakers and canoeists without a dedicated launch, plan accordingly. The lake also features a fishing pier on the north shore (accessible via Crystal Lake Circle) if you're interested in exploring different areas.
