**Location & Directions**
Crystal Lake's city-owned public access is located at the west end of the lake in Pelican Rapids, Otter Tail County. To reach it, travel east of I-35 on Crystal Lake Road to Crystal Lake West Park. The site is bordered by Crystal Lake Road and Maple Island Road.
**Facilities & Usage**
This 54-acre city park provides public boat access to the waterfront and includes a hard surface trail and canoe rack rental. The site features a boat ramp, though paddlers should note that there is currently no ideal dedicated launch spot for non-motorized boats, so kayakers and canoeists share the ramp with motorized traffic. Please keep the ramp clear for all users. The lake also has a fishing pier on the north shore for those interested in angling. **Be mindful that park district resident boat owners may require annual key fobs or registration to use launch facilities.**
**Paddling Notes**
Crystal Lake offers a scenic 54-acre paddling area. For the best experience with non-motorized watercraft, arrive when motorized boat traffic is lighter. Additional shoreline access can be found by traveling east to Crystal Lake Circle if needed.
