Cultus Lake Resort provides access to Cultus Lake, a popular recreational destination in Oregon's Deschutes County near the Cascade Mountains. The day-use boat ramp features a large paved parking area with a dock and two boat launches, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized watercraft. Note that this ramp is primarily designated for visitors with reservations at nearby boat-in campgrounds (Cultus Lake Boat In - West Campground, Cultus Corral Horse Camp, or Lava Lake Campground), who must use the designated boat-in camping parking lot.
Cultus Lake is a 4,940-acre recreational lake popular for water skiing, sailing, jet skiing, and boating. Paddlers and boaters will find the lake well-developed with multiple access points, including a walk-in launch within the adjacent Cultus Lake Campground. The area also provides access to trails leading into the Three Sisters Wilderness, making it an excellent base for multi-day paddling or camping trips. Several other reservable campgrounds are located within 10 miles, and nearby Crane Prairie and Wickiup Reservoirs offer additional paddling and fishing opportunities in the region.
