About This Access Site
Curlew Creek Boat Ramp provides access to Anderson Ranch Reservoir, a 4,730-acre impoundment on the South Fork Boise River in the Boise National Forest near Pine, Idaho. The ramp is located adjacent to Curlew Creek Campground (25 units, reservable) and offers a full-service launch facility including a boat dock, two parking lots for trailers, vault toilets, drinking water, and picnic areas. This is a popular spot for boaters and paddlers looking to access the reservoir for fishing, swimming, and water recreation.

The site is about 4 miles from the town of Pine and easily accessible via Forest Highway 61 from Highway 20 near Mountain Home. While the ramp and dock facilities are well-developed, note that trailer parking can be limited during peak season, so arriving early is recommended. The reservoir setting offers scenic mountain views and connects to downstream paddling opportunities on the South Fork Boise River below the dam.

For current conditions, specific details about fees, or site-specific questions, contact the Boise National Forest at 208-587-7961 or check Recreation.gov for campground reservations.
