Cypress Lake

Located in Browder, Muhlenberg County, this boat ramp provides public access to Cypress Lake within the Peabody Wildlife Management Area. The ramp is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Parking is available but limited—use designated parking areas only and avoid blocking gates or access roads. The surrounding wildlife management area is known for waterfowl and is an important feeding and nesting area for bald eagles, so expect to see varied bird life, particularly during spring and fall migrations.

Anglers and paddlers should note that the Pond River downstream of the ramp allows additional water access. The area experiences seasonal hunting activity, so be aware that firearms use is prohibited within 100 yards of the boat ramp itself. Plan your visit accordingly and use proper visibility gear if paddling during hunting season.
