Mississippi River, Dakota State Water Access Site

The Dakota public access site is a concrete plank boat ramp located in Winona County along the Mississippi River in Pool 7 of the Upper Mississippi River Valley. This is a basic launch facility best suited for small boats and canoes; the shallow water access and modest ramp design make it ideal for paddlers rather than larger motorized vessels. The site provides a convenient entry point to this scenic section of river between Trempealeau, WI and Dresbach, MN.
