Daly Park offers a convenient double-ramp boat launch on the shores of 93-acre Lura Lake near Mapleton. The facility includes a fishing pier and dock, making it well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. This is one of four public access points on the lake, with two located within the park itself.
The park is a full-service recreation area with extensive amenities including a swimming beach, hiking trails, picnic facilities, and a 9-hole disc golf course. Camping is available on-site with 86 mobile sites and tent camping options, plus bathhouse facilities with showers. The lake is managed primarily for Northern Pike and Walleye, with secondary species including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, and Yellow Perch, making it popular for both paddling and fishing.
