**Facilities & Amenities**
This roadside park provides picnic shelters, fishing access, and a pleasant setting with shade trees along the riverbank. A stone monument commemorating Daniel Boone's historic presence in the area marks the entrance. The park is ideal for day trips and offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the river.
**River Access & Paddling**
From Daniel Boone Park, paddlers can access the Kanawha River's navigable channel. Downstream, the Marmet Pool extends 15 miles to London Dam, providing a 9-foot navigable channel suitable for various watercraft. The London Pool upstream provides additional navigation to the head of navigation on the river. Check current water conditions before launching, as the Kanawha is a working river with barge traffic and dam pools.
