The access area includes a picnic site and an accessible fishing deck. The lake features a maximum depth of 50 feet with fairly abundant aquatic vegetation and supports a variety of fish species including walleye, northern pike, and panfish.

The concrete ramp is located on the northwest end of the lake and provides straightforward water access for launching trailered boats and hand-carrying smaller watercraft.
