About This Access Site
The Davis Lake boat ramp provides convenient access to this scenic lake in northern Michigan. The two-lane concrete ramp is located on the east side of the lake, next to the Lightning Tree Campground. A seasonal loading dock and large paved parking area make it easy to launch kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.

While there are no restroom facilities at the ramp itself, the nearby campground does offer vault toilets. Davis Lake is a popular destination for paddling, fishing, and boating, with over 7 miles of shoreline to explore. The lake's relatively small size and calm waters make it well-suited for novice and intermediate paddlers looking to enjoy the tranquil natural setting. Nearby, the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore offers miles of pristine beaches, forests, and inland lakes to further enhance your outdoor adventure.
