Decker Lake

Decker Lake is a 325-acre lake located in scenic Itasca County, Minnesota, near Squaw Lake. The lake has a maximum depth of 12 feet and offers a public boat launch for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The access point is situated in the Chippewa National Forest area, providing paddlers with access to a scenic northern Minnesota water body suitable for recreational boating and fishing.

**Important Note:** Recent reports indicate boat ramps on Decker Lake have been closed due to low water levels. Before planning your trip, check current access status through Minnesota's Lake Finder tool or contact local authorities to confirm whether the ramp is open. Water levels can fluctuate seasonally, which may affect launch conditions and navigation. If accessible, the ramp can accommodate 12-18 foot boats at most launch facilities. There are typically no launch fees unless the access is within a park requiring a vehicle permit.

Facilities
The Webster Campground offers 15 campsites, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No shower facilities on site, vault toilets located on inside of the loop across from beach access.
