About This Access Site
Deer Lake Resort offers a full-service boat ramp facility on Deer Lake in Stevens County, located about 35 miles south of Colville or north of Spokane via Highway 395. The resort features a dedicated boat ramp, ample parking, and complete amenities including RV sites (up to 42 ft), tent camping, restrooms, showers, and a camp store. This is a private resort option for those seeking launch facilities with on-site accommodations and services.

Note that Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) also maintains a public access point on the northeast corner of Deer Lake with a gravel boat ramp and parking area, available year-round. However, the WDFW launch is known to be shallow, so the Deer Lake Resort ramp may be preferable depending on water levels and your vessel type. The lake supports a variety of fish species including largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, perch, rainbow trout, and lake trout, making it popular with anglers. Reservations are recommended for the resort, particularly during peak season (May–September).
