About This Access Site
Located at the Bridge Lake area in Tomahawk, this public boat ramp provides access to Deer Lake, a 150-acre water body in Lincoln County with excellent water clarity. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 62 feet, making it suitable for various watercraft including kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The ramp facility includes a dock to assist with launching and landing, along with a picnic table for visitors.

The lake supports a healthy fishery with musky, panfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye—making it popular for both paddling and fishing. From this access point, paddlers can also reach Bridge Lake via a connected waterway beneath a nearby bridge. The site is located on County Road N in Swiss Township, providing a convenient launch point for exploring the lake system in this scenic portion of northern Wisconsin.
