About This Access Site
Located in Baraboo near Devils Lake State Park, this boat ramp provides access to Devils Lake, a 374-acre lake with a maximum depth of 47 feet. The ramp is situated close to the shoreline with nearby gravel beach access, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers and canoeists. Note that the main parking area can fill up quickly during peak times, so arriving early is recommended, especially on weekends.

Since Devils Lake prohibits gasoline-powered boats and jet skis (electric motors only), this is an ideal destination for paddle sports and quiet water recreation. The lake has no current, making it suitable for paddlers of all skill levels. If you're looking for powerboat access, Lake Wisconsin is located just a few minutes away. Be aware that parking lots can reach capacity during busy periods, so the overflow lots may be your best option when the main lot is full.
