Dillenbeck Bay offers a convenient public access point to Lake Champlain, located on US-2 in Alburgh, Vermont. The facility features a concrete boat ramp suitable for small boats, kayaks, and canoes, along with a dock for easier launching and landing. A restroom is available during summer months, and the access area is maintained year-round with winter plowing for cold-season access.
This location provides excellent access to the northern section of Lake Champlain and is well-positioned for exploring the nearby Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge, a 6,729-acre wetland habitat that supports migratory birds and offers scenic paddling opportunities. The bay itself is a sheltered starting point for flat-water paddling and fishing. For current conditions, hours of operation, and any seasonal closures or maintenance updates, contact the Vermont Department of Fish & Wildlife, which manages this access area as part of their network of over 180 public fishing and boating access sites throughout the state.
