Dinsmore Boat Landing

Dinsmore Boat Landing provides convenient access to the upper Trout River, a major tributary of the St. Johns River system in Jacksonville. Located at 6800 Dunn Avenue Terrace, this public facility features two launching lanes, a courtesy dock, and parking for approximately 16 boat trailers. The ramp is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and smaller motorboats (under 22 feet), making it an accessible entry point for exploring the Trout River's upper reaches.

The site is free to use and is maintained by the City of Jacksonville. Paddlers launching here can expect access to the upper portions of the Trout River, which offers opportunities for recreation in this portion of the St. Johns River watershed.
