The Dolphin Marina boat ramp in Marina Del Rey, California provides convenient water access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. The ramp is located next to Chace Park, which offers guest docks for overnight berthing.
Boaters can enter the launch area from Fiji Way, between the Mast-up Storage and Dock 52. The ramp itself is well-maintained and suitable for launching a variety of watercraft up to 100 feet in length. An all-day parking lot with 232 spaces is available adjacent to the ramp, with a flat rate of $10.00. Trailer parking is permitted, but trailers must remain attached to a tow vehicle at all times.
When the facility is unstaffed, boaters can pay for launch and parking at the onsite pay station, which accepts bills, coins, and credit cards. Signage indicates that a receipt must be displayed on the dashboard at all times. Marina Del Rey itself is a large, protected harbor perfect for recreational boating, fishing, and other water sports.
