About This Access Site
Doolittle Park provides an easy-access boat launch on scenic Birch Lake, located just north of Birchwood in Washburn County. The ramp accommodates various watercraft, from kayaks and canoes to motorboats, making it an accessible entry point for paddlers and boaters of all experience levels. The park features a sandy beach and swimming area, which can be helpful for assessing water conditions before launching.

This full-service facility includes restrooms, showers, a fish cleaning house, and picnic amenities. With 40 campsites available (many with full hookups), it's an excellent option for multi-day paddling trips. Boat docking is available, and the park maintains a dump station for RV users. The sandy beach and playground make it a family-friendly destination, though paddlers should plan accordingly if visiting during peak summer season when the campground may be busy.
