From Fort Peck, head west on Highway 24 for ½ mile at the HWY 117/24 junction, then turn left on Duck Creek Road and follow signs to the boat ramp (approximately 2 miles total).
**Facilities & Amenities:** This is a primitive recreation area with easy boating access and a functional boat ramp. Nearby, West End Campground and West End Tent and Trailer Campground (which offers reservations) provide additional camping options within 10 miles if needed.
**Boating Conditions:** Duck Creek provides straightforward access to Fort Peck Lake, the fifth-largest man-made reservoir in the United States. The calm, protected waters of this massive impoundment are ideal for kayaking and canoeing, though paddlers should be prepared for the large expanse of water and variable weather conditions typical of the Northern Great Plains. Check current water levels and conditions before launching, especially during seasonal fluctuations.
