About This Access Site
Duncan Reservoir offers a scenic paddling destination in the remote sagebrush rangelands west of Silver Lake. The boat ramp is a gravel and dirt launch with a small parking lot and turnaround area, making it well-suited for cartop boats, kayaks, canoes, and small power boats. The reservoir is seasonally stocked with rainbow trout, providing good fishing opportunities alongside paddling. No fees are charged for access.

The site is located about 5 miles south of Silver Lake via County Road 4-14. On-site facilities include a vault toilet, covered picnic area, and picnic tables with fire grates. Four single campsites and a group campsite are available for overnight stays on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the facility at 541-947-2177 for current conditions. This is a quiet, undeveloped spot ideal for paddlers seeking a more remote experience in Oregon's less-traveled backcountry.
