Eagle Lake is a small reservoir in Cameron, DeKalb County, Missouri, offering a convenient access point for paddlers and small boaters. The lake sits within the Cameron water supply system alongside Century Lake and Sunrise Lake, providing multiple nearby paddling opportunities. A concrete boat ramp and improved facilities make this a practical launch location for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.
**Access Details:** The West Bay Boat Ramp on the west side of the lake features a concrete launch, parking area, and privy. Note that motorized vessels are limited to 10 horsepower maximum, and boats cannot exceed 26 feet in length. If you're launching a trailer boat, use the 42nd Street Boat Ramp (located on Dandy Trail south of the Eagle Creek 56th Street Gatehouse) instead. The Lakeview ramp on the east side is also available and considered one of the better launch options on the lake.
This is an ideal access point for casual paddling and small boat recreation in a calmer, controlled reservoir setting rather than flowing water conditions.
