Eagle Lake Public Boat Ramp in Polk County provides convenient access to Eagle Lake for paddlers and small boaters. The ramp features a 24-foot-wide asphalt launch area that transitions to gravel at the boat launch zone, with dedicated parking for vehicle-and-trailer combinations. This is a straightforward public access point suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small recreational boats.
Before launching, note the water body regulations: personal boats are limited to 10 horsepower maximum, and overall boat length cannot exceed 26 feet. If you're launching a boat with a trailer, you'll need to use the 42nd Street Boat Ramp (located on Dandy Trail, south of the Eagle Creek 56th Street Gatehouse) instead. For additional launch options, Twin Points Boat Ramp on the lake's south side near the dam and West Bay Boat Ramp on the west side are also available.
