About This Access Site
Eagles Nest Lake #2 is a 388-acre lake located seven miles east of Tower in northeastern St. Louis County. The access site features a **concrete boat ramp on the north side of the lake**, with a small gravel parking area located just across the road up the hill from the launch. A portable toilet is available at the landing for user convenience.

This deep lake reaches a maximum depth of 39 feet and offers clear, soft water conditions. Eagles Nest #2 is part of the four-lake Eagles Nest chain and connects to Eagles Nest #1 via a water access channel, allowing paddlers and boaters to explore multiple lakes on a single outing. The area is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. Note that parking is limited, so arriving early during peak times is recommended to ensure adequate space.
