About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities**
East Bay Tollson Park is a well-developed public boat launch located at 48 West Tollson Road in Spruce, Michigan, on the east shore of Hubbard Lake. This paved access site offers excellent amenities including a hard-surface concrete ramp capable of handling large boats, 64 parking spaces for vehicles and trailers, and vault toilet facilities. The site is maintained by the Michigan DNR as an official boating access point.

**Best For**
This is a primary access point for paddlers and boaters launching onto Hubbard Lake, a sizable inland lake in northeastern Michigan. The hard-surface ramp and ample parking make it convenient for both kayaks and larger recreational vessels. The site's infrastructure supports full-day outings and group launches. Those seeking an alternative access point will find the North Shore ramp (off Hubert/Hubbard Lake Rd) with 20 parking spaces available as well.

**Planning Tip**
Check current conditions and any seasonal closures with the Michigan DNR before visiting, as the site periodically closes for maintenance and improvements. Arrive early during peak season to secure parking, especially on weekends.
