About This Access Site
East Fork Harbor Marina offers excellent access to Lavon Lake via two well-maintained four-lane boat ramps, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and larger recreational boats. The facility includes a courtesy dock at the east ramp and is operated year-round by the US Army Corps of Engineers in partnership with East Fork Harbor Marina. The marina itself provides 135 boat slips and is known as a secure, protected harbor sheltered from high winds by elevated park lands on all sides.

The surrounding East Fork Campground, located on the southern shores of Lavon Lake, makes this a convenient destination for multi-day paddling trips. The area offers camping options including RV sites, tent campsites, and a swimming beach. To access the ramps, from Wylie take Texas 78 east and turn north on County Road 389; the park entrance is near the intersection of CR 389 and CR 384. A day-use fee is required. For current hours, specific fees, and facility details, contact East Fork Harbor Marina at (972) 442-1143 or the East Fork Campground at 972-442-3141.
