East Solomon Lake is a 658-acre public access lake located 3 miles northwest of Willmar in Kandiyohi County. The boat ramp is situated on the northeast side of the lake off County Road 5 at 6210 Co Road 5 NW, Willmar, MN 56201. This shallow lake with a maximum depth of 14 feet is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters of all skill levels.
The public launch accommodates boats up to 12-18 feet, with some ramps capable of handling larger vessels. There are typically no launch fees at this access point unless a vehicle permit is required. East Solomon Lake connects to West Solomon Lake via an outlet, providing paddlers with additional exploration opportunities.
