About This Access Site
The East Woahink Lake Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Woahink Lake within Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park near Dunes City. To reach the ramp, travel south from Florence on Highway 101, then turn east onto Canary Road. Parking is available along the shoulder of Canary Road immediately after crossing the first bridge, with approximately 150-200 feet of walking to the water's edge via a gentle downhill path. The boat ramp itself offers an easier alternative to a steep bank step-down for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats.

Woahink Lake is a popular recreation destination in the scenic Oregon Dunes area, suitable for paddling, fishing, and boating. The surrounding Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park offers additional amenities and outdoor activities. Several campgrounds are located within 10 miles of the access point, including Carter Lake Campground and Tahkenitch Campground, making this a good option for paddlers planning multi-day trips in the area. For specific information about facilities, fees, or seasonal conditions, contact the park or nearby campgrounds in advance.
