Echo Canyon State Park

Echo Canyon State Park offers access to a scenic 65-acre reservoir on the Meadow Valley Wash near Pioche, Nevada. The boat ramp is located on the north shore of the reservoir and becomes operational when water levels are high enough. When the ramp is unavailable due to low water, boaters and paddlers can launch directly from the shoreline. The park is reached via Highway 322 from Pioche, followed by a lesser road heading southeast toward the reservoir at the base of the mountains.

The access site provides excellent facilities for a full day of paddling or boating, including shade ramadas, picnic tables, barbecue grills, drinking water, and a comfort station. The park also features a nearby 33-site tent campground and RV campground with full hook-ups (20 sites), along with flush toilets and an RV dump station, making it convenient for overnight trips. Six picnic areas are distributed along the reservoir's shoreline, offering multiple recreation options for families and groups.
