About This Access Site
Echo Lodge Resort provides a convenient boat ramp and access point to the Colorado River in Southern California. Located along the California side of the lower Colorado River within the Parker Strip Recreation Area, this day-use facility offers shaded picnic tables, a vault toilet, and on-site volunteer assistance.

The boat ramp makes it easy for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats to launch onto the river. The Colorado River in this section is relatively wide and slow-moving, making it well-suited for recreational boating and paddling. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the surrounding desert landscape from the water.

Note that this is a day-use only facility, with no overnight camping permitted. Nearby campgrounds like Crossroads Campground provide options for those looking to spend more time in the area. Paddlers and boaters should check water levels and conditions before heading out, and be prepared for the typical challenges of the lower Colorado River.
