Econfina River State Park Boat Ramp

Located in Perry, Taylor County, the Econfina River State Park boat ramp offers free access for kayakers and canoeists to explore a scenic coastal Florida waterway. The park features two small concrete boat ramps that extend well into the water, making them suitable for shallow-draft vessels. The ramp can accommodate boats up to 18-20 feet with caution, though water levels can be shallow during low tide. No launch fee is required for non-motorized watercraft.

The Econfina River flows toward the Gulf of Mexico, situated just 2.2 miles south of the park's ramp, allowing paddlers to access either the river's upper reaches or venture toward the coast. The waterway supports a variety of craft, including kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and motorized boats, though airboats and personal watercraft are restricted in certain areas. Be aware that swimming is prohibited in some sections of the river. The park offers scenic views of coastal islands and sand dunes, making it an attractive destination for a range of paddling experiences.
