**Location & Access**
Ediz Hook is a protected boat ramp facility located in Port Angeles Harbor on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The ramp sits on Marine Drive Road (East Front Street) at the end of Ediz Hook, a natural spit that provides excellent shelter from open-water conditions. The west lane of the ramp is in good condition, while the east lane may require caution. Ample parking is available on-site.
**Paddling & Boating Conditions**
The ramp provides protected access to Port Angeles Harbor, making it ideal for kayakers and canoeists launching into calmer waters. Boaters seeking offshore opportunities can access deeper waters and salmon/halibut fishing grounds around the outer edges of Ediz Hook. The facility typically operates year-round from sunrise to sunset. Heart O' the Hills Campground is available nearby for multi-day trips, and the nearby Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge offers additional exploration opportunities for paddlers.
