Eleven Mile State Park

Eleven Mile State Park offers a convenient boat ramp access point to the serene Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir on the South Platte River. This high-altitude reservoir is a popular destination for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats.

The main boat ramp is located at the Eleven Mile Picnic Area, one of four picnic areas within the canyon. The ramp provides access to the north side of the reservoir. An aquatic nuisance species (ANS) stamp, current boat registration, and pre-launch boat inspection are required to launch watercraft here. Boaters should be aware that the ramp may not be usable when the water level is below certain elevations.

In addition to the boat ramp, Eleven Mile State Park offers excellent shore fishing, hiking trails, and camping options at the nearby Spillway and Cove Campgrounds. Whether you're paddling the calm reservoir or exploring the technical waters of Eleven Mile Canyon downstream, this access point provides an ideal starting point to discover the natural beauty of this high country destination.

Eleven Mile Picnic Area is one of four picnic areas in Eleven Mile Canyon. There are 15 picnic sites here each equipped with a grill, picnic table, and parking.
