About This Access Site
Eleven Mile State Park offers boat access to the scenic Elevenmile Canyon Reservoir on the South Platte River. The park features three boat ramps, with two located on the north side of the reservoir in the North Shore area. Before launching, boaters must obtain an aquatic nuisance species (ANS) stamp, have a current boat registration, and pass a pre-launch boat inspection.

The reservoir is situated at an elevation of over 8,500 feet, providing a high-altitude paddling experience. Motorized craft may be limited when the water level is low. For those seeking a quieter, human-powered adventure, the park's hiking and walking trails provide scenic access to the shoreline for shore fishing, float fishing, and other water-based activities.

Eleven Mile Canyon remains open and accessible year-round, though services at the entrance station are seasonal. Nearby campgrounds, such as Spillway and Cove, offer convenient overnight options for those looking to extend their time on the water.
