Elkhart Lake is a 292-acre freshwater lake in Sheboygan County offering public access via a concrete boat ramp with a moderate slope suitable for launching various watercraft. The lake has a maximum depth of 119 feet and provides ample parking at the access point. A dock is available for pickup and drop-off, and the facility is well-maintained, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters alike.

**Regulations and Permits:** Daily and annual permits are required for boat access, with fees of $4/$16 for Sheboygan County residents and $6/$24 for non-residents. Slow-no-wake speed restrictions are in effect from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m., with a 35-mph speed limit during other times. Note that motorized boats are prohibited on Sundays from 12:01 a.m. onward. Permits are available at self-registration stations at the boat landing.
